As passionate campers with 35 years of experience under our belt, we were excited for our weekend in the VW Grand California. But right at our arrival, a shock: the brand new outdoor shower, never used before, was leaking! Panic? Not a chance! Thanks to our trusty water canister, our water supply was secured. Still, the frustration was high.

How to Avoid the Hassle:

1. Regularly Check the Quick Disconnect Function:

A quick test of the outdoor shower's quick disconnect can catch problems early on. In doubt, you can easily attach the shower hose and create a temporary seal.

2. Always Carry Spare Parts:

The part number for the original Reich connector is 608910. Having this in your luggage allows for a quick replacement if needed.

3. UniQuick Plugs as a Universal Fix:

The Reich UniQuick plugs with part number 533-1202 are true all-rounders. Leaky faucets or other water system damage - these plugs are prepared for any eventuality.

4. Water Canister: A Must for Every Camper!

While a water canister takes up some space, its weight is minimal. In areas with limited water supply, it proves to be a lifesaver.
