2010 The Start of an Era:✨As a sidekick/backup for our VW T3 California came a brand new VW T5 California Beach into our family #campervan fleet. Rustic charm without the frills – exactly what we’d hoped for in our four-wheeled adventure machine #roadtrip. A fold-down backseat that transformed into a bed, a table for both inside and outside tucked away in the sliding door panel, a storage box on the driver’s side, a cargo net overhead, and swiveling front seats – everything we needed for a comfortable and flexible journey .
Less is More:
Admittedly, our California Beach wasn’t a luxury liner. No pop-up roof, no electric windows, no fancy interior trim. But it was new, affordable, and most importantly, reliable . And hey, who needs bells and whistles when you’re enjoying the freedom of the open road? #simpleliving #freedom
Faster Than our Westfalias:
With its powerful engine and agile handling, our California Beach exceeded our expectations. Quicker than our beloved Westfalias, it got us to every destination efficiently #adventuremobile #performance #westfaliacamper
A Van for All Occasions: ️🇮🇹
Whether it was surfing trips in Portugal, winter adventures in Spain, even a roadtrip to Afica, kayaking expeditions in the Alps, or simply relaxing by the Italian sea – our California Beach was always there #allterrain #travelbuddy. It was our mobile home, our transportation, and our adventure companion .

Farewell and New Beginnings:
After many years and countless kilometers, the time came to say goodbye. We replaced the Cali Beach with the VW Caddy panel wagon. Although brand new, even more rustic, 🤘 no interior behind the front seats. But this will be another post.
