September and October are the perfect months for a campervan adventure in Italy. The crowds have thinned out, the weather is still pleasant, and the prices are more affordable. We recently embarked on a delightful journey through the country, starting with a relaxing stay at Union Lido in Cavallino-Treporti.
Union Lido is a massive, well-equipped campsite with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the clean facilities, the beautiful pool area, and the variety of shops and restaurants on-site. From there, we took a short drive to Fusina to find a campspot with stunning views of the Venice Lagoon. Watching the huge ships pass by was a mesmerizing experience.
Of course, no trip to Italy would be complete without a visit to Venice. We took a day trip from Fusina and explored the city's iconic canals, bridges, and historic landmarks. The romantic atmosphere and unique charm of Venice were truly unforgettable.
